Strengthening environmental protection and treatment
Ordos will adhere to the systematic management of forests, fields, lakes and deserts and accelerate the transformation of agricultural techniques and animal husbandry production methods. It will also scientifically compile territorial and spatial plans, implement ecological projects and promote the construction of green mines.
Extending the energy industry chain

Boosting rural revitalization
Ordos will optimize agriculture and animal husbandry's spatial layout. It will promote improved varieties and standardized production, and support large-scale, intensified, industrialized and branded agriculture and animal husbandry.
Implementing an innovation-driven development strategy
Ordos will increase investment in scientific and technological innovation and build innovation platforms such as the International Desertification Control Research Center and the Modern Energy Economic Research Center to accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technical achievements. The city will comprehensively improve the level of scientific and technological innovation.
Improving the business environment
Ordos is to deepen reforms, further enhance the efficiency of government services and maximize the convenience of enterprises and the people. It will also implement a series of policy measures to support the development of the private economy, and stimulate the vitality of various market entities.
