Inner Mongolia's authorities to strengthen taxation services
The taxation bureau of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region will take measures to optimize its work procedures and provide convenience for enterprises, responding to the government's call to build a market-oriented, legalized and international business environment.
Authorities announced the measures at a conference held on Feb 19 by the taxation bureau in Inner Mongolia’s capital city Hohhot.
The relevant person in charge of the taxation bureau stated that, compared with the development of benchmark regions in the taxation business environment, Inner Mongolia still has shortcomings in the implementation of key tasks such as streamlining administration and delegating power, strengthening supervision under the law, improving services and reducing costs.
There is room for continuous improvement in its working efficiency.
The taxation bureau will promote tax and fee reduction policies and improve the convenience of handling tax payments.
The bureau will implement a coordination mechanism for tax collection and management to improve its efficiency. It will also broaden the tax payment channels and continue to optimize the electronic tax service items.
It will shorten the business processing time limit of seven taxation service items by 20 percent, realize the immediate handling of two taxation service items and realize convenient tax declaration and payment for general taxpayers.
Before the end of March, the guideline for all tax-related service matters will be published on the Inner Mongolia government service website.
By the end of June, people will be able to inquire about a range of topics online, including addresses for the taxation bureau’s tax offices, corporate tax credit ratings and information on regulated intermediaries.
Before the end of December, the detailed analysis of the taxation service department’s service quality and efficiency will be completed by authorities.
