Inner Mongolia industries see stable growth in first five months
The operation of industries above designated size in the first five months of this year in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region saw stable growth, according to information from Inner Mongolia's statistics bureau.
Statistics show that from January to May, the added value of the industries above designated size in the region increased by 11.8 percent year-on-year.
By category, the added value of the mining industry above designated size increased by 7.9 percent year-on-year, while the growth rate slowed by 4.2 percentage points from January to April.
The added value of the manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 21.1 percent, which was 0.6 percentage points faster than that from January to April.
Meanwhile, the added value of the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries above designated size increased by 2.6 percent, a slowdown of 1.9 percentage points from January to April.
Additionally, among the 37 major industrial sectors in the region, 28 industrial sectors achieved year-on-year growth in added value. Of which, 22 industrial sectors achieved double-digit growth in added value.
