Chinese Judo player Wang Yue won bronze in the 63-kg blind women's judo competition at the Tokyo Paralympic Games on Aug 28, adding another medal to the Chinese sports delegation.

The 24-year-old player is from the city of Bayannuur in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Wang has limited vision due to fundus lesions when she was young, but she is in good physical condition.

In 2010, Wang joined the women's judo team of the Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Sports.

According to her coach, Geng Xiaofei, Wang participated in autonomous regional competitions in the three months after joining the team and has won many championships.

In the following 10 years, Wang won the National Blind Judo Championship, the blind Judo championship of the National Paralympic Games, the 63-kg championship of the Asian Blind Judo Championships, the 63-kg championship of the World Blind Judo Grand Prix, and more.

This year was the first time Wang has competed in the Olympics. Geng was impressed that she won a bronze medal.

After returning from Tokyo, Wang will continue to train on the Inner Mongolia sports team and prepare for the 11th National Paralympic Games.
