China Mengniu Dairy, a giant dairy product manufacturer based in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is attending the fourth China International Import Expo currently being held in East China's Shanghai.

Mengniu has set up an exhibition area covering 552 square meters at this year's expo. It features products and technologies from Mengniu and its cooperation partners—Yashily of New Zealand, Bellamy's of Australia, and Arla of Denmark.

As a leading company in China's dairy industry, Mengniu has established overseas production bases in New Zealand, Indonesia and Australia, with a total of 68 factories worldwide and an annual production capacity of more than 10 million metric tons.

Mengniu has formed a complete industrial chain layout on a global scale to help China's dairy industry fix the imbalance between resources and the market, with Southeast Asia as the main target of the international strategy, Europe and the United States as high-end R&D and technology partners, and Oceania and other regions as high-quality milk sources.

In 2021, Mengniu continued to be listed in the Hengsheng Sustainable Development Enterprise Index and became the only Chinese mainland food company on the list.

In the world's most influential ESG rating MSCI ESG Index and Global Protein Producer ESG Index, Mengniu is also at the forefront of China's food industry.

Meanwhile, Mengniu has joined the Initiative Pathways to Dairy Net Zero (PDNZ), which was jointly launched by the World Food and Agriculture Organization, the Global Dairy Cooperation Forum, and the International Dairy Federation to promote the low-carbon transformation of the global dairy industry.

Mengniu has also joined the Business for Nature Alliance Initiative launched by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development to contribute to the protection and sustainable use of natural resources in China.
