The Hulunbuir Prairie in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is entering its most beautiful season, with its grasslands turning green as summer approaches.

More than 1,000 sheep raised by herdsmen in Chen Barga Banner graze on the prairie, appearing like specks of white on the vast green plains.

The Hulunbuir prairie in northeastern Inner Mongolia is one of the world's top three grasslands with an elevation 650-700 meters, an area of about 100,000 square meters and natural grassland coverage of 80 percent.
