The CPC committee and administrative office of the Hinggan League in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region teamed up with the Communication University of China (CUC) in launching a regional brand, the first territorial marker released in China on Aug 15.

With the debut of its main visualization strategy, regional public brand of agricultural and animal husbandry products, regional public brand slogan, cultural and tourism promotion copy, Hinggan League will start a new chapter in shaping its regional image, according to Ding Junjie, the initiator of the regional brand.

As a brand-new concept, the regional brand is not only academically innovative but also an important business card for regional publicity and promotion, an important factor to enhance regional development competitiveness, said Ding, also the president of the National Institute of Advertising.

The regional brand of Hinggan League demonstrates its economic structure which reveals China's national conditions, also the people-centered philosophy of the Communist Party of China, said Zhang Guohua, president of the China Advertising Association.

"The release of the regional brand is a project related to people's livelihood," said Liu Jingjing, Party secretary of the CUC Institute of Art, who was also an official with 26 months of work experience in Hinggan League. " It represented the common aspiration of the 1.62 million people of Hinggan League from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization."

Through the promotion and use of the regional brand, Hinggan League will further excavate regional highlights for reinforcing product visibility and competitiveness and engineer its high-quality development.

Hinggan League is located in the northeast of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, where China's system of ethnic regional autonomy started. Hinggan League always practices the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and will rely on its own resources to achieve green development.

Representatives of units giving assistance to Hinggan League attended the event. Zhang Shuting, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice-president of the Communication University of China, and Su He, deputy secretary of the CPC Hinggan League committee and head of the league, delivered speeches.
