A flight carrying tourists from 15 Mongolian travel agencies arrived in Manzhouli city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on March 29.
Meanwhile, tourist groups organized by Manzhouli-based travel agents took flights to Ulaanbaatar in neighboring Mongolia that same day.
It marked the official opening of cross-border tourism between China and Mongolia in the current year.
Over the years, the Manzhouli municipal bureau of culture, sports, tourism, radio, film and television has continued to expand tourism exchanges and cooperation with Mongolia.

The travel agencies of the two places have established a cooperation platform involving a special tourism route and innovative tourism products development, creating tourism brands, joint cross-border marketing and improvements to the quality of tourist services.
Over the next few days, travel agencies from Ulaanbaatar are expected to gain a deeper understanding of Manzhouli's cultural and tourism resources through visits and seminars and will hold talks with Manzhouli's travel agencies about cross-border tourism cooperation.
