The 10th Chinese Exposition of Museum and Relevant Products and Technologies concluded on Aug 26 in Hohhot, the capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
This year's expo, which lasted four days, covered an exhibition area of over 50,000 square meters and showcased 394 museums from across China. It highlighted the impressive achievements of China's museum industry.
Various academic activities and over 40 public events accompanied the main exhibition, providing the public with a unique insight into cultural heritage and historical civilizations.
As the premier museum industry event, the expo once again underscored its crucial role in cultural heritage preservation, display, and innovation. Since its opening, it has garnered immense public attention and active participation, with a record-breaking 350,000 visits.
The exhibition halls were bustling with activities throughout the four days. Long queues formed at interactive zones, and various academic lectures, forums, and cultural activities had every seat occupied.
Museums displayed their most treasured artifacts, allowing visitors to experience the profound depth of Chinese civilization up close.
In addition to historical relics, the cultural and creative products at the expo also drew significant attention. These products, designed by integrating traditional cultural elements with modern aesthetics and practical functions, became a highlight of the expo.
Integrating smart and digital technologies was a standout feature of the exhibition. Artificial Intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) are increasingly being incorporated into museum displays and management, opening up new dimensions for cultural presentation.
