Alshaa League in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region kicked off a three-day low-altitude event at the Badain Jaran Desert Vehicle Testing Base in Alshaa Right Banner on Nov 10. The event showcases the league's burgeoning low-altitude economy.

Off-road teams will navigate a route that includes the vehicle testing base sculpture, Nishanguo, Dashazao Lake, and Badan Lake. The teams will utilize the unique terrain and exceptional testing conditions of the Badain Jaran Desert to test vehicle performance and challenge drivers' skills.

Off-road teams will also work alongside drones and helicopters to conduct various scenario drills, including personnel rescue, locating lost camels, and transporting fresh camel milk.

"These scenario drills demonstrate the efficiency and practicality of drones in material delivery and emergency rescue. We aim to explore collaborative models between drones and the pastoral and camel industries," said Xiang Xin, deputy industry director of CASC Feipeng Co.

The low-altitude economy has grown rapidly in recent years. Alshaa League is seizing opportunities for innovation and development in this sector, using low-altitude tourism and economy as a springboard.

This initiative aims to enhance the support mechanisms for desert tourism activities and lay the groundwork for expanding the drone segment of Alshaa League's low-altitude economic development.
