Inner Mongolia enterprises expand business network at supply chain expo
At the Second China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region showcased its prowess in three major industrial chains: advanced manufacturing, green agriculture, and clean energy.
A total of 14 companies engaged in these sectors displayed their innovations and products, including new rare earth materials, premium agricultural and livestock products, green energy solutions, and superior cross-border e-commerce services.
In the advanced manufacturing section, a golden "fabric" presented by the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics (CAAA) from Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, garnered significant attention.
"This is F-12 aramid fiber fabric, a high-strength, high-toughness material, and one of the world's three high-performance fibers," explained the presenter.
"Each F-12 aramid fiber has a diameter of just 14 microns, one-sixth the thickness of a human hair. A finger-width rope made from this fiber can pull a 20-metric-ton weight. It not only has high tensile strength but is also highly resistant to cuts."
The presenter further highlighted, "Gloves made from F-12 aramid fiber can effectively prevent cuts, providing workers with enhanced safety." The demonstration attracted a large audience.
After over 20 years of dedicated research, CAAA has successfully localized the production of F-12 fiber, filling a significant gap in China's high-performance fiber material sector.
Baogang Group from Baotou, another major participant, showcased its innovations in new steel materials, rare earth applications, emerging fluorochemical products, and strategic resources like niobium and scandium.
The group engaged in discussions with nearly 700 exhibitors from 69 countries and international organizations, focusing on future collaborations and technological advancements.
