Inner Mongolia garnered global acclaim at the 2024 World Forestry Products and Wood Products Awards, winning one grand prize, five gold awards, and 14 silver awards. The Inner Mongolia Forestry and Grassland Administration also received the Outstanding Organization Award.

The announcement was made during the 2024 World Forestry Products and Wood Products Exhibition, which was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Winning products included sea buckthorn juice, sea buckthorn vinegar, birch sap, hazelnuts, black fungus, edible mushrooms, specialty fruit products like fruit juice and wine, and health-focused items such as cistanche essence beverages. Creative products like birch bark paintings also gained recognition.

The awards highlighted contributions from 17 companies, including Inner Mongolia Shamo Zhihua Ecological Industry Technology Co and Inner Mongolia Sea Buckthorn Innovation Application Technology Research Co.

In recent years, the Inner Mongolia Forestry and Grassland Administration has used various expos to promote the region's unique, high-quality forestry products. This strategy has boosted the market visibility, reputation, and competitiveness of Inner Mongolia's specialty products, enabling them to reach national and international markets.
