CPPCC members submit Inner Mongolia development proposals
In 2024, the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee members, participating organizations, and specialized committees submitted 1,193 proposals, of which 964 were approved for further action after review.
The proposals contributed to regional priorities, including implementing the region's "six major initiatives", promoting high-quality development, and advancing Beijing-Inner Mongolia collaboration.
This was announced during the third session of the 13th CPPCC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee, which began on Jan 13 at the Inner Mongolia People’s Hall in Hohhot city and will continue until Jan 17.
This session features two "Members' Channels" to enhance communication. For the first time, 16 overseas Chinese representatives and youth and women affairs observers have been invited to attend for consultative democracy.
The main agenda includes hearing and reviewing the CPPCC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Standing Committee's work report and proposals since the last session.
Participants will also attend the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Congress session to discuss the government work report and other key documents, deliberate on political resolutions, and discuss personnel matters.
