The Tianjin branch of the Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths showcased multiple innovative technological applications at the recent Tianjin Science and Technology Achievements Conference.

The Tianjin branch, the only rare earth research institute present, introduced a range of pioneering products. These included rare earth radiation cooling coatings, anhydrous rare earth halides, anti-icing and de-icing coatings, rare earth thermal management textiles, refractory materials, surgical puncture-resistant gloves made with rare earth elements, and functional cultural and creative products.

Unveiling these advancements sparked a strong response from attendees, leading to in-depth discussions and potential collaborations with multiple companies.

In recent years, the Tianjin branch has been dedicated to exploring the limitless potential of rare earth applications under the "Rare Earth+" concept.

With a focus on China's "dual carbon" goals, the institute has been developing green products, envisioning a future where rare earth materials enhance various industries.

By fostering a four-in-one innovation system encompassing research and development, talent cultivation, technology commercialization, and business incubation, the institute aims to build a seamless service chain that facilitates the transition from scientific breakthroughs to industrial applications.

This initiative highlights the dynamic integration of science and industry, demonstrating the strong vitality of regional technological innovation.
