First camel culture event held in Ereenhot

The inaugural Camel Culture Series Event was held on March 22 in Ereenhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
This marked a vibrant celebration of the city's rich pastoral heritage and the launch of the "Tuomengsu" Camel Breeding Base.

The event showcased a variety of local specialty foods and intangible cultural heritage products. Tourists and locals were drawn to the fragrant dairy delicacies, creamy milk tofu, tender milk skin, colorful ethnic costumes, and exquisite handicrafts. Attendees indulged in traditional flavors and admired unique cultural exhibits, fully immersing themselves in the charm of the grasslands.
A series of competitive events, including camel and horse races, traditional Mongolian wrestling, and a camel beauty contest, also took place. Riders and wrestlers fiercely competed, displaying remarkable skills and endurance.
