The 7th Inner Mongolia Dance Competition opened at the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Cultural Center in its capital city Hohhot on April 21.

The four-day event features 100 finalist performances from across the region, all centered on contemporary themes such as ethnic unity, cultural heritage, ecological conservation, and rural vitalization.

Through the expressive power of dance, performers vividly portray the spirit and determination of the people of Inner Mongolia as they contribute to China's path of modernization.

This year's competition introduces a new structure for the professional category, dividing it into three distinct tracks: folk and ethnic dance, classical dance, and contemporary dance.
