A China-Europe freight train carrying 232 vehicles departed on May 27 from Shaliang Logistics Park in Hohhot, marking the city's first commercial vehicle transport (JSQ) shipment of 2025 via railway flatcar.

The train will exit China via the Alataw Pass in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and travel over 7,000 kilometers to its final destination at Bely Rast Station in Moscow, Russia. The journey is expected to take approximately 12 days.

The launch was made possible through coordinated efforts supported by China Railway Hohhot Group Co, Hohhot's bureau of commerce, Saihan customs, and Shaliang Logistics Park. These partners jointly secured cargo sources through multiple channels, established a priority support mechanism, and implemented full-process tracking to guarantee the train's departure.

Hohhot plans to further improve cargo organization capacity, optimize freight train operations, expand JSQ shipments, and promote regular JSQ operations.
