The Inner Mongolia leg of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Shanxi-Inner Mongolia Folk Song Journey took place on June 29 at the Inner Mongolia Library.
More than 20 folk singers from the Mongolian, Han, Daur, Oroqen, and Ewenki ethnic groups took to the stage, performing a diverse range of song styles, including long and short pieces, Manhan Opera, and traditional folk songs, providing the audience with a rich cross-cultural musical experience.
Highlights included Duguima, an Inner Mongolia Art Theatre performer, opening with Vast Grasslands, long-song inheritor Erdenesukh's rendition of Little Yellow Horse, and Khangaisatsur's performance of Golden Sacred Mountain, representing the folk traditions of Alshaa League.

The event also featured a book exchange ceremony between the Capital Library of China and the Inner Mongolia Library. The Capital Library of China donated works such as Yisui Huosheng and Beijing Geyao, providing valuable references for studies on grassland culture. In return, the Inner Mongolia Library presented books, including Mongolian Yataga, showcasing the rich musical heritage of nomadic and fishing-hunting communities.
