The city and district governments in Hulunbuir are leading major efforts to vitalize the urban area through infrastructure and cultural-tourism corridor projects along the Yimin River.
The projects span both sides of the Yimin River and include a variety of cultural leisure areas and unique small pavilions. They feature a vibrant music square and an exotic train restaurant, combining cultural appeal with everyday attractions to create immersive experiences for both visitors and residents.

In response to increasing living standards and changing consumption patterns, the night-time economy has emerged as a new engine for urban development. To capitalize on this opportunity, the Ewenki Autonomous Banner introduced the Yidexi Night Food and Intangible Cultural Heritage Market, complemented by a lively summer carnival.
These events are designed to strengthen the local night-time economy, enhance cultural activities, and offer residents and tourists a wider variety of after-dark entertainment and shopping choices.
