Five ecological cooperation projects worth nearly 60 million yuan ($8.34 million) were signed on Aug 26 at the China-Mongolia Ecological Project Investment Cooperation Roundtable, held as part of the Fifth China-Mongolia Expo in Hohhot city.

The agreements cover key areas, including seedling domestication bases, eco-tourism complexes, seedling supply, and ecological greening projects. The deals mark a shift from preliminary talks to concrete implementation, injecting new momentum into bilateral ecological collaboration and supporting the region's green, low-carbon transition.

Government officials, experts, and business representatives from both countries attended the roundtable, which served as a practical platform to advance eco-investment cooperation.

China and Mongolia pledged to address shared challenges, such as climate change and desertification, by utilizing ecological collaboration as a bridge for mutual benefit and sustainable development.

The two sides will accelerate project implementation and provide full support for cooperation in ecological construction, technological exchanges, and talent training, further deepening bilateral ties in the ecological sector.
