North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region brought a vibrant "grassland breeze" to the 19th China Time-Honored Brands Expo in Shanghai from Sept 19 to 21, showcasing its rich heritage and distinctive local brands.

Participating enterprises presented a wide range of green and organic products, including dried beef, cheese, camel milk products, and exquisite cashmere items. While adhering to traditional craftsmanship that preserves "taste and skill", they also modified the packaging and flavor to appeal to modern consumers, especially younger people, demonstrating the spirit of "heritage with innovation".

The region's unique ethnic decorations, horsehead fiddle performances, and the inviting aromas of milk and meat attracted large crowds of Shanghai residents and buyers, who sampled, inquired, and negotiated on-site.

Many visitors praised the products for reflecting Inner Mongolia's pristine environment and vibrant grassland culture, while some Yangtze River Delta buyers reached preliminary agreements for agency and procurement.

The expo not only provided Inner Mongolia's time-honored brands with a platform for brand promotion and market expansion but also strengthened cultural exchanges between Shanghai and Inner Mongolia.

Officials from the Shanghai office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government emphasized their commitment to boosting brand recognition in East China, expanding channels for local premium products, and bringing more green, healthy, and delicious Inner Mongolian specialties to the Yangtze River Delta, promoting economic cooperation between the two regions.
