The Baotou government in Inner Mongolia announced on March 3, 2016 that the Chilechuan scenic spot had gained recognition as a national 4A level scenic spot.

Located at Tumd Right Banner of Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Chilechuan scenic area is a tourist attraction boasting convenient transportation. With a total area of 16.28 square kilometers, the scenic area has six tourism brand resources – natural ecology, historical culture, new industry, sightseeing and shopping, farmhouse style and folk experience, becoming an ideal resort for sightseeing and vacation in Northern areas.

Chilechuan scenic spot involves five scenic parts, namely, Chilechuan museum, Dayantan, Jiufeng Mountain, Golden camel ecological cultural industrial park and Xinji leather center.
