Baotou Airport to begin its summer season
Baotou Airport in Baotou -- in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region -- starts implementing its summer flight season schedule on May 3, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.
Airport officials said the number of cities and flights will be further increased, providing more convenient and diverse travel options for passengers.
The Baotou-Shanghai flight will be increased to up to four flights per day. The Baotou-Zhengzhou flight will add up to three flights a day, while the Baotou-Guangzhou flight will be increased to up to two flights a day.
The Baotou-Hefei flight will be increased to up to two flights a day and the Baotou-Guiyang flight will be increased to one flight a day.
The airport will reopen flights linking with popular domestic tourist cities including Kunming, Harbin, Sanya and Zhuhai.
Operated by Ruili Airlines, the Baotou-Kunming flight is scheduled to fly four times a week. The Baotou-Harbin flight will be operated by Fuzhou Airlines and China Express and is scheduled to fly eight times a week.
The Baotou-Sanya flight will be operated by Fuzhou Airlines and fly four times a week and the Baotou-Zhuhai flight will be operated by Donghai Airlines and fly three times weekly.
The airport will continue to undertake novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control efforts, officials said.
Passengers are required to wear masks to enter the terminal and cooperate with the airport to have their temperatures read and to register their information.
