Baotou to restart direct flight to Beijing, add another

Baotou city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region will boasts two direct flights to Beijing daily starting on May 29, providing more convenience for passengers, according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

The Baotou-Beijing flight is one of the most popular air routes launched by Baotou Airport, with most of the passengers being business travelers.

Airport officials said the existing direct flight was suspended due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

They said the service, operated by Air China, is now scheduled to fly twice a day,

The departure time for the CA1107/8 flight in Beijing has been changed from 20:05 to 13:10 and the departure time in Baotou has been changed from 22:35 to 15:35.

In addition, the airport will continue to take epidemic prevention and control measures including body temperature measurements and regular disinfection of the airport, officials added.
