Baotou Airport launches more flights for winter season

Baotou Airport in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is to implement a new flight schedule for the upcoming winter season starting on Oct 25, with 14 airlines participating in the operation of 27 air routes to 26 domestic cities, according to Baotou Daily.

One air route will be added, linking Harbin in Northeast China, Baotou in North China and Urumqi in Northwest China.

The Harbin-Baotou-Urumqi flight will be operated by Longjiang Airlines on an Airbus A320. It is scheduled to fly four times per week.

In addition, more flights will be added to 14 air routes, including those linking Baotou with Tianjin, Xi'an, Guiyang and Hefei.

After the adjustment, the Baotou-Taiyuan flight is to fly four times every day; the Baotou-Shanghai flight schedule will be increased to fly 24 times per week; the Baotou-Zhengzhou flight will fly 17 times per week; the Baotou-Xiamen flight will fly twice annually; and the Baotou-Guangzhou air route will have 10 flights per week.

In the future, Baotou Airport will continue to open new air routes, and actively contact various airlines for adjustments to popular destinations to provide more options and convenience for passengers.
