Wuhai-Baotou-Tongliao flight launches

The Wuhai-Baotou-Tongliao flight has been officially launched in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with its maiden flight taking place on Feb 5, according to Baotou Evening News.

The flight, operated by China Express Airlines, is scheduled to fly twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

The flight takes off in Wuhai at 9:35, and stops in Baotou at 10:25 before finally reaching Tongliao at 12:55.

The return flight departs Tongliao at 13:35, arrives in Baotou at 15:25, and finally reaches Wuhai at 17:05.

With the opening of this flight, the number of cities in the autonomous region that have air routes linking them with Baotou stands at five. These include major cities in the autonomous region like Chifeng and Ulaanhot.

Also, passengers who choose to transfer at Baotou Airport can enjoy special services.

After getting off the plane in Baotou, transit passengers do not need to claim their checked luggage; their bags will be directly transferred to their connecting flight.

When transit passengers go through the security procedures again, they can enjoy a first-class security check service and priority boarding service.

Transit passengers can also enjoy a free meal before the departure of their subsequent flight.

For overnight transit passengers, free accommodation services are provided.

At present, all major online sales platforms are selling transit air tickets via Baotou.
