On Aug 10, Baotou Airport added direct flights linking Baotou in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province.

Currently, there are two Baotou-Shenzhen direct flights on a daily basis.

The newly-added direct flights, operated by Shenzhen Airlines, are scheduled to fly once from Baotou to Shenzhen and once from Shenzhen to Baotou every day.

The first flight takes off in Shenzhen at 8:00 am, and reaches Baotou at 11:25 am. The return flight leaves Baotou at 12:15 pm, and arrives in Shenzhen at 15:40 pm.

The increase in Baotou-Shenzhen flights will strengthen ties between Baotou city and the Pearl River Delta city clusters, and provide more choices for business travelers and residents.
