Baotou Airport launched a flight route linking Shenyang in Northeast China's Liaoning province and Urumqi in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Aug 20, providing more convenience to passengers traveling between the regions.

The Shenyang-Baotou-Urumqi flight, operated via a China Southern Airlines' A320 aircraft, is scheduled to fly once every day.

The flight takes off in Shenyang at 9:45, and stops in Baotou at 12:05 before finally reaching Urumqi at 16:05. The return flight leaves Urumqi at 17:15, stops in Baotou at 20:10 and arrives in Shenyang at 22:55.
