The Museum of the Acclaimed Sisters (Longmei and Yurong)

In February 1964, Mongolian sisters Longmei, 11, and Yurong, 9, rescued 364 sheep. They struggled for more than 20 hours and ran more than 35 kilometers at temperatures of -37 C. Although they were left with lifelong disabilities, the story of their sacrifice drew attention from around the nation. In 1966, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government awarded them the title of "Heroic Sisters of the Grassland".
