Topping Amazon China’s ‘Most Well-Read Cities in China’ list in 2016, Baotou of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region is taking strides in promoting the habit of reading among its citizens by holding a series of activities.

A “floating bookstore” is placed in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Sept 23. The wooden book shelf, containing books donated by children in the city, was set up to help the sharing of books while promoting the habit of reading. [Photo/wenming.cn]
