An exhibition featuring oil paintings created by Zhao Hai opened in Dongdashan arts area in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, June 12.

The exhibition is part of the 2018 Qingshan Cultural Tourism Festival. It features industrial themes, displaying more than 120 oil paintings.

Zhao Hai is a graduate of the Fine Arts Department of the Minzu University of China. Now he is the executive vice president of the dean of the Oil Painting Department of the America Arts Research Institute. Over the years, Zhao Hai has been exploring the expression of the elements of traditional Chinese painting in oil painting, gradually forming his own artistic language and style of works. His oil painting works have been featured in many international and domestic exhibitions of fine art works and won various awards.
