Qingshan district reports 6% GDP growth in first half 2018

Qingshan district, one of the main districts in central Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, recorded sound economic development in the first half of 2018 with the regional GDP increasing by six percent, reports Baotou Daily.

The growth rate is higher than that of the autonomous region and Baotou by 1.1 and 0.5 percentage points respectively.

The profitability of industrial enterprises in the district continued to grow, and the profitable enterprises above a designated size realized a total profit of 550 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.2 percent.

The value added growth rate of industries above a designated size reached 12 percent, ranking second in Baotou city.

Also, the fiscal revenue of Qingshan district in the first half of this year totaled 2.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.2 percent.
